Met Saskia and Adrianne for the hilly Dutch Branch/Bryant Irvin route.  I love this brutal run  - but it is hard.  There was no wind today, which helped.   I had a pit stop at the 7-11 but other than that very uneventful.  Much slower than I would have liked, but we will get after it tomorrow.

Registered for El Scorcho this morning and I cannot decide if I am excited or crazy.

On my own today after and hour of trying to get myself out of bed.   The first 4 miles were rough and I was struggling to keep moving.  Work is work and just more stress than I want as well as lots going on at home with the kids and Jay's work.   Finally about mile 4 I started feeling better.

9:13, 8:53, 8:42, 8:16, 8:37, 8:06, 7:48,

Avg Pace 8:31 - Llano Springs, Risenger, Stone Meadow, Wildflower.

PM:  I have been wanting to add a mid-day run in a couple of times a week but have been pretty bad about following through.   Today I accomplished it.  I have a view from my office of this hill and I have been watching runners and cyclists on it for a year, so today was the day.  It is .5 mile long and a 5% grade.    I did 2 out and 2 back from my office which isn't so bad but it is 80 degrees and I am used to running in the dark.  Dehydrated, hot and I should have taken it easier.  Avg. pace 8:36.

Very tired and sore legs this morning = very, very slow run.   It was 62 degrees and 85% humidity at 5:30 am, I am afraid for summer if this continues.   Took it extremely easy and slow.
