Ran with the South Jordan group today and did my first track work out. The work out went: 1200, 400 recovery 800, 400 recovery 400, 400 recovery 2 mi tempo (1/2 marathon pace) 2 x 400, 400 recovery 2 x 200, 400 recovery I felt really good until but it kicked my butt! I had a 3/4 mi warm up plus some extra after the 2 mile tempo and a little at the very end. My knee is a little sore so I will ice today. Ave Pace 8:01 (not including the 3/4 mile warm up) Happy Running! |
