Met Cheris this morning. I was really worried about driving out to SJ and running in the cold but after a sleepless night I decided running was better than laying awake in bed.   The cold was not near as bad as I had feared and we ended up having a really good run.

Now to the sad news, my husband got layed off yesterday.  We were caught off guard becuase even though there were lay offs at his work he had been told that his job was fine.   But that is the only sad part.  As we have talked about this over the last day we continually recognize how blessed we are and that we have some resources to get us through for a little while.  We recognize that the Lord has a plan and we have to have faith that we will be okay.  Being able to see this is the greatest blessing of all.

I'm sorry Jody! Optimism is such a good quality though. Look at the fact that you still have a great job and that you are prepared. I hope he can find something soon. Great run. Julie and I went to the gym and she said she saw your car at Cheris's and we discussed how tough you are. You are a real trooper.

Way to go on running in that cold! It was cold, you are just tough!!

I am so sorry to hear about your husband, but you have a great attitude and because of that you guys will be okay. Good luck to him in getting a new job and I hope it is soon so that you never have to feel the stress! I am glad you are such a smart cookie and that you are prepared, when we are prepared we will be taken care of!

Lots of hugs your way and hope to see you Tuesday??? I have not talked to you in a long time, you run too fast for me!
