Ran with the BBK today, we had a big group show up.  It was so great to see everybody and catch up - a lot happens in a couple of weeks.  No big work out planned, just some good mileage.  I felt great, it has been a rough couple of weeks and I started to wonder if I would ever feel good running again.  So nice to know that it comes back eventually.

I am glad to hear it was a good day. It is hard to get past those hard times when they seem to drag on. Good Pace.

It was fun to see you this morning. Hang in there with the running. Sometimes after I run a marathon it takes me about a month before I like running again. I don't know why. I think it's similar to the post-partum baby blues. You've worked so hard towards something, then it gets over, and you have to readjust your mind a little. But the fun always comes back.

Glad it was fun! One day i will get my carpool issues worked out so I can come again. But---no school on Thursday, so no worries there!

So, how cold were you? It did not seem to bad this morning---but I wasn't out there!!

Peggy - It is just like the baby blues. It took me a few days to figure that out but it is just the same.

Kelli - It wasn't bad at all. Better than yesterday. Can't wait to see you Thursday.

Are the BBK's planning to workout during the cold winter too? Someday I'd like to join up with you guys.

From Jody on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 14:02:13

Cal, yes we are planning on working out during the winter. It would be great to have you join us. Let me, Peggy or Cheryl know and we can get you the information.

I would like to Ditto Cal. I really need a running group. If you don't mind I would love to get the info. too?

From Jody on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 15:06:39

Britta - PM me your email and I will send you the workouts for this week.

Britta - it would be great to have you join us - they are a great group and I am just a newbie.

I think a running group is a fabulous idea! (Too bad you all live a little out of the way...) This morning I got out the door at 5:30 (in the dark, in the cold) took 2 steps and ran back into the house for my good ol' treadmill. Being a chicken does not mesh well with running alone in the dark. Gotta work on that!

From Jody on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 15:18:56

Lybi - I am the same way if I am on my on - pretty darn scared!

From walter on Wed, Oct 15, 2008 at 01:13:32

Good run Jodster! Lybi, I didnt even know half these runners were dang near my next door neighbors. Its easy to run into them without even trying hard. You and Camille and others need to get it going. It truely helps me be more accountable.

Jody,

Nice to see you yesterday morning. Yes, we survived the teenage drivers. Cheryl and I have almost been hit a couple of times so I just keep crossing my fingers. It looks like we will be on the trails tomorrow.
