Three nice easy miles with Renee and Paula. I love these runs! I wish I had planned better and asked if we could go earlier so I could get more miles but didn't realize until too late. The new Garmin is working out wonderfully.

Another mile after walking the kids to school - I love walking them but I am beginning to dread pushing that stroller back home!

I didn't start my timer until we picked you up so based on that I think I am on. But I will continue to watch it.

Did you get the gamring 405? I got that for Misty and she's having a hard time figuring it out.

Wow- look at your great miles this week- awesome! Are you loving working from home (most of the time)? So you're doing TOU, is that in about a week? Did you find a way into SGM?

What a workout yesterday! Wow! You deserved a few less miles today.

From Jody on Fri, Sep 05, 2008 at 11:14:45

Walter - I just got the 305. I have not heard a lot good about the 405, so I opted for easy :)

Christi - I got into SGM this week. I am not going to run TOU, I do not think I could recover that fast.

I'm impressed that you made it back out yesterday! Great job. You are really kicking butt this week. It's great that you got into the St. George. Awesome!

I was wondering I wanted to change my blog to just have the fast and slow miles like yours.. I have the different type of fast and I can never remember what is what so I usually just them all in slow. Do you know how to change it?

From Jody on Fri, Sep 05, 2008 at 11:30:04

Linda - Thanks! I am not quite sure - I would recommend posting the question in the discussion forum under system issues and they can tell you how.

Yeah the 305 is a sure bet! My wife wants to take her 405 back and get a 305. It is extremely difficult to operate. The screen is a bit smaller too so its harder to deal with when your running. It has a few more modes and we just figured out how to make it lock so you dont accidentally change stuff while your running. She had it on at TOU half and after 3 miles, it went into a different mode and messed her time up. That is frustrating! You'll like that alot better then the nike chip. Its a bit more accurate.

Great job this week, Jody!! Have fun on your half tomorrow. Wish we had gotten in a longer run last Saturday so we could join you!

From Jody on Fri, Sep 05, 2008 at 15:14:16

Kelli,

You should come and then add on afterwards. I am planning on adding on 3-5 once we are done. I will be the last as usuall!

From Julie on Fri, Sep 05, 2008 at 16:20:48

Great job this week Jody. I am planning on running extra miles tomorrow too. I think I will run a few miles before and few after. So Kelli you should come. It will be fun I'm sure.

From Kelli on Fri, Sep 05, 2008 at 20:45:48

I will have to think about it! We could run there and run home, I guess. We just have a soccer game at 9. Hmmm....maybe we will try it.

Sweet that you got into SGM! Did you get a hook-up from your hometown connections? Did I read somewhere that you're running a half tomorrow? If so- GOOD LUCK!!!
