No run for me today. I woke up to go with Paula and felt horrible. I laid there for a minute and no improvement so I decided a no go. My body could also use some rest for tomorrow's long run.

Happy Running!

You've had a great week of workouts! Enjoy the rest today! How many do you plan to do tomorrow for the long run? I can't wait to see you next week for Hobble Creek! It will be a fun way for us to get ready for our first marathons we are preparing for. I sure wish we were doing the same marathon! The other day when I was running down Payson Canyon I was having one of my "theater in my head" times. I was alone for part of the run and pictured a big bear coming out to get me and ruin my chance to run the marathon. BUT,,,,the good news was....they let me change my entry to your name so you could run the SGM. OK, I know, I'm a little loony! I play out all kinds of things in my mind as I am running. Enough rambling from me...have a good day!

Thanks for thinking of me in your dreams! I am planning 18 for sure and then hopefully 20.

I cannot wait for Hobblecreek either - I will check with Josse to see if she is bringing purple ribbons. I like that idea better anyways because I have to go to the ward day camp afterwards.

Way to rest---I TRULY believe there are just days we need it (and not just Sunday!)

Best of luck on that long run tomorrow!!! You are all so ambitious, I hope I get there one day! Long for me is 10-12, anything past that is torture! But, I have a few torture runs in my future if I want to beat my marathon PR (can you really call it a PR when you have only run 1?)

Have a good day!

Great week of running this week, JODY! You've really tacked the miles on. I agree that your rest day is well deserved. Best of luck tomorrow on the long run!

Thanks for the comment about my trip. I had a blast! I am just sad it's over already, though the week actually went slowly which was a blessing. I really needed a break from work. :) Now it's time to think about classes again already. :(

Hey Jody!

That would be great to have you on our long run! I don't know how to retrieve the private message, but Michelle and I are meeting at her house at 5:00 a.m. You can get to her house by taking the 106th South Bangerter Exit. Then head east until you get to 1300 W. Turn South on 1300 W., drive until you see Skyscape Way (it is just south of South Jordan Elementary). Turn right onto Skyscape, and it will be your second left. She is at the end of the circle. If you get lost, my cell is 949-9028. That will be awesome! We are just planning to do a nice, 9 minute pace, so it should be fun!

Sounds great - I will be there!
