Ran a nice easy 3 today with Paula on 3 hrs of sleep. Three must be my magic number this week - it has appeared quite a bit. Had a nice chat and just relaxed.
I wish a nap was in order - busy day at work and then my daughter has two softball games. My brother is also here because his wife is running WBR and he is staying with us, so there is too much staying up late and talking.
I am running Hobblecreek. It is one of my favorites and I look forward to all year long. I was surprised how quick it filled up. We usually register in July and when I got the email - I signed up right then. Are you running it?
I saw on the blog that hobblecreek was filling up and I signed up the night before it closed. I am so glad I got in. I have been wanting run that for a few years now. I just need to see how close I can get to a PR.
I would bet with good training over the next couple of months you would be right around 2 hrs. It is mostly downhill but the last 3 are rolling - It means good consistent runs longer than 13 miles to really do well.
Did you still want to join us on Wednesdays /Fridays?
Whoa! My husband would sympathize with you. Yesterday I woke him up to drag him to my son's track meet after he had 2.5 hrs of sleep (after working a 12 hr. hospital shift) Sounds like your life is crazy like ours! Read about your hubby's new job. That is exciting! Good luck! The kid juggle is always keeps us on our toes too. I used to work at home, now I'm working out of home and Jim is home days with the kids. Gotta do whatever works right?!
