Went out today in the horrible wind. I ran the big block and battled the wind the entire time except for 1 mile, when I had it at my back. I felt really good the entire time other than tired towards the end. No leg issues, no vision issues - it is miracle!! I feel really good about getting out today in the wind and completing my longest run since March 25, however I am disappointed with my overall pace 9:12.  I really feel like I cannot get going right now, but I am trying to be patient as I build back up.

Happy Running!

Great job Jody! Don't be disappointed in your pace! You are doing just what your body needs. No need to ruin a good thing you've got going! You will be back to your faster times before you know it! Good luck!

Jody, don't worry about pace, just run and be happy. The pace will come back naturally. Say Kool, good your back, B of BS Rools out

Don't worry too much about the pace, I bet the wind was affecting it. Glad your body is behaving- good run today!

That wind sounds bad, it has been so windy down here too! Dont stress about the pace, just be happy your out and nothing hurts, everything will come back together soon and you will be rockin and rollin!

Thanks for the welcome. You put in some pretty good miles despite the that wind. That's what part of it is about, overcoming the elements. Great job

Great job! I am so excited to hear you got some great miles in today and no pain. I missed you at the race. No one to chase!!

It shows real dedication to run in the wind! Great job on your run. I'm glad your leg and vision problems are behind you. Don't worry about the speed. I agree with Marcie it will all come back together.
