AM - 8 miles.

Over the past few days I've felt noticeably better on my morning runs to work. A little looser, a touch faster. Maybe the combo of PT / standing desk / renewed hot tub membership is starting to pay off. Getting back to competition is not my main priority right now. I want to get healthy and regain my athleticism (I need to be able to rip moguls again!). We have a fun summer with all kinds of traveling and vacations planned. And I'm busy with work - in a very good way. But maybe if things go well there's a chance I could return to some racing later this year. If I'm healthy at the end of the summer, I could potentially see myself "training" this fall. For now, I'm motivated to extend the ski season for another month... and I need to drop a half-stone before I start running harder again. I haven't really missed training hard over the past two months. I love recreational running just as much as focused training so I've simply been happy to be able to run every day.

For the record, I'm actually a little nervous about Ragnar in a month!
