AM - 8 miles. For my required novelty birthday run, I did 30 x 1 minute (1 minute recovery). Averaged ~7:30 per mile on the fast parts and ~7:30 per mile on the recoveries. In other words, I ran an easy hour with Allie, Josh, Fritz, and Nate.

Skied at Alta for a couple hours. The snow is turning brown and melting. Sad :-(

Luckily Scottie Pippen was there.

I'm already dreaming of some new goals for this year now that I'm 30 (image courtesy of my good friend Sean Curran who you may remember from Curran's Famous Steeple):

i think your bday breakfast should be a snort of tabasco-infused maple syrup.

Happy Birthday, Jake! I find these types of variable pace workouts to be quite productive :-)

Great pic. Would be better if you were wearing a weighted vest.

Happy birthday.

Had I known we were doing repeats I think we could have cracked 7:20.

Looks like you had a fun start to your 30s.

Happy belated b-day! 30 is the new 25 if you're Haile Gebrselassie.

Happy bday! I like the 30 on and offs.
