AM - 5 miles.

That's a nice 48 hour total. Haven't seen anything in that range that since 2011.

We got out for a few hours in the afternoon today, but missed the boat on the light powder and great skiing. Snow consolidates and gets gunky really quick this time of the year. Even if our turns were of marginal quality, it's nice to see everything covered in white again.

In a really good year, the base depth in Little Cottonwood Canyon can approach or exceed 200 inches. That's like Manute Bol standing on Shawn Bradley's shoulders, and then some!
