AM - 15 miles. Started from Prospector Square and ran from the base of PCMR up Jenni's Trail to Mid-Mountain and over to Empire Lodge. Andrea and Jess met me there and we ran another 6 miles on MM. Jenni's Trail is similar to Armstrong - a gradual climb to the upper mountain.

Nice to get out for 2.5 hours... it's been a while! I'm looking forward to running the Jasper Skyline Trail in a couple weeks. Not too worried about bears... confident the wolves will defend us.

i just invited the bears to a hot tub party -- they love us.

Are all these ridiculously beautiful places within driving range of your house? How do you find them all? Compared to other average places, like Atlanta, it's just crazy!

UTAH! is the place.

Sometimes I'm glad I've always lived in ugly crapholes. Then I can be impressed easily.

30 minutes to Park City and all these trails, Joe. It's a nice extended backyard. Even after 5 years, we are still adding to our list of things to do... it hasn't dwindled down yet.

Everywhere we skied this winter (except for 2 days) was within ~30 minutes of home. It makes it hard to want to travel to other places to ski (I know, REALLY tough first world problem to deal with).

If you draw a 4-5 hour driving radius around any city in the country, nothing (with real jobs) beats SLC.

There's a reason we live here, and its not because we are huge BYU fans :-)

allie - wait until the bears see Kevin's selfie stick. Photobomb/bites. I'm coaching up Andrea for the next 2 weeks: NO MEAT IN POCKETS!

Hey, my family and I were hiking up Armstrong on Sunday. We were headed up to mid mountain to do some trail running. Unfortunately, our daughter took a tumble and banged up her knees on some rocks, so we turned around and headed back to the car.

Glad you got in a nice run.

Aww too bad. That's a nice trail though - you don't have to worry about mtn bikes flying down!
