Excellent workout Jakester. And a big hearty congratulations on meeting your target pace.

A little too cold this morning to continue the progressive series of AT workouts I've been doing this morning. Gotta keep these hamstrings happy throughout the whole marathon buildup.

Solid workout for sure. Did you see that the WSU student qualified for the olympic trials on sunday? I was looking for a post from you about it.

Yeah she ran a very good time... like 2:38ish? I don't think she lives in Utah anymore though.

Several guys from Utah ran really quick times in the half, but I think they had all already hit the OT standard in 2014.

Yasir - I caught a ride to work this morning after the workout so the PM run is my only way home :-)

Nicely done Jake. Must be weird for you, going that fast without skis.

From Jake K on Wed, Jan 21, 2015 at 15:40:29 from 159.212.71.77

It's certainly less technical, and I didn't even crash on this run like I did yesterday afternoon.

I love reading this blog before every run just to get me fired up 90% effort in AM another 6 pm!!

From Jake K on Thu, Jan 22, 2015 at 10:08:20 from 159.212.71.200

To be honest Yasir, I shouldn't really be doing PM runs after workouts/long runs during this cycle of training... if I want to get my hamstrings fully healthy again. I was pretty beat up by the evening (especially when you toss in the ski race on Tuesday). I'm going to probably cut down to 9-10 runs per week, instead of my typical 13-14, and do a lot more skiing.
