Alright, I gotta know. What's the 10 day out workout going to be? Or is it supposed to be a surprise?

Its not a secret/surprise. I haven't completely decided yet...
Originally I had 10K @ LT on the calendar, but I'm thinking that might be too close to the race (I don't want to waste a race effort on a Wednesday morning). So its probably going to be something more like 2x3 miles (or 2x5K). Good stimulus, but save the big effort for next weekend. You can only go to the well so many times.

I am very much into hyperlinks right now, so I especially appreciated that black beauty! She's gorgeous. Quiet the scenery you had for a gentle 13 miler. Thanks for sharing.

Good plan. The 10 x 1 mile was indicative of fitness and you've had some really good stuff since then. Just a "little" sprinkle of pizzaz to make a final pact with the legs.

Yep, the 10 x 1 told me what I needed to know. Sub 65 is by no means a given, but it might be possible on a perfect day. There's no point is trying to "beat" that workout. You get no bonus time taken off for impressive training :-)
