AM - 9.5 miles. 10K Tempo in 32:37 (5:15/mi avg). Splits - 5:15, 5:20, 5:19, 5:11, 5:12, 5:13, :67. Pace was between aerobic threshold and lactate threshold, but more importantly - I think ~5:10/mi is my hamstring threshold right now. It didn't hurt, but I don't feel confident cranking the pace down much faster yet. I'll continue to play it safe and err on the side of caution with it. PM - 4.5 miles down to SHP, really slow. |
