AM - 11.3 miles up to work. A little tired this morning... stayed up past my bedtime watching the World Championships.
PM - 8.7 miles home... winding through the neighborhoods. I thought this article about Ryan Hall that I read in Running Times today had some good insight. He has a focus on "big" workouts (a theme I have discovered is popular on this blog), but knows its equally important to have the confidence to not "prove" yourself in workouts. I also liked the quote about responding to training, and not merely surviving it. |
