AM - 20 miles at Jeremy Ranch. Ran 15 w/ Andrea (she ran very strong today) at a relaxed pace, then added on 5 more a little quicker (6:00 pace). Gorgeous up there this morning. Saw moosetracks (the footprints, not the ice cream, unfortunately) in the dirt, but no mooses!

PM - 4 miles easy. Trying out my new Kinvaras. The Tangent has been my go-to shoe, but its discontinued and I only have 2 pairs left. The Kinvaras are money, though! Love the feel and the flexibility.

That is some excellent ice cream, I haven't had it in a long time and now I'm going to have to get some today.

Nice run! I'll have to check out Jeremy Ranch one of these days on my way to Park City.

You and Andrea are awesome, I enjoy checking your blogs and seeing how the pros do it.

Nice big mileage day Jake.

I thought I might tack on a few more miles when I got home today. Had a beer and fell asleep on the couch instead. But it's the thought that counts right?

ACorn - its a great run... you should definitely give it a whirl sometime.

Rob - haha yes, just thinking about heading out for some afternoon miles after a long run is half the battle!

I just got some Kinvaras and have liked the feel of them so far. I tend to run a shoe into the ground before moving on to another pair so they are next in line. Do you rotate shoes from day to day?

I'm trying to get better about alternating... started to get myself more in the habit recently. Shoes definitely last longer that way (at least in terms of the cushion).

I love the Tangents as well, I have to make my last few pairs last for marathons. I am really bummed they discounted them. I am running in some Mirage now and like them and have a pair of Fastwitch I going to try. I have a pair of Kinvaras and like them for up to a half marathon distance, then the minimalist aspects start catching up.

I have a pair of the Cortanna's coming and look forward to trying them out too!
