AM - 2.2 miles. Easy "shake out the kinks" run. Surprisingly, I'm not really even sore. The balls of my feet and a few toes are blistered... but my legs feel fine. Of course that makes me think I could have run harder! :-) The toe pain I had in the last few miles was perhaps as much of a limiting factor as muscular fatigue. Whatever... I'm not second guessing yesterday's race at all! Cruised around on bikes for a few hours in the afternoon (primarily looking to see which store had the best sale on M&Ms), and catching up on some chores that have been neglected in the past week. Nice to just enjoy an easy day. |
