AM - 10 miles w/ Andrea.

PM - Skinned Collins laps at Alta [3900']. About 6-7" of new (very dense) snow this weekend... keeping that mid-mountain base over the 100" mark. Good (creamy) turns above the angle station.

The crowds are starting to thin out.

i was going to joke that you could ski on your wedding day, then i looked back and saw that you did in fact ski through july 10th in 2011...so it's possible!

Over 700" that season plus a cool May/June. Its possible but unlikely... we would need a couple monster May storms and a reversal of global warming.

That being said, it is still my dream to ski into the ceremony (and being in ski boots has another advantage - it makes me appear taller than Andrea).

My backup plan is to ride in on a Moose. I'll make the final call around Memorial Day, depending on the snowpack... I'm guessing it will take about a month to catch and train a moose should I have to resort to plan b.

The cross country running gods will assure that all snow is melted by then.

i know a guy who could hook you up with a trainable moose. you would have to meet somewhere inconspicuous, like the sugar house tunnel or liquid joe's

I was going to say something about how its a shame that we're moving soon and I'll have lived within walking distance of Liquid Joes for 6 years without going inside.

And then I looked at their calendar.

Guy On A Buffalo. How could a guy with 10 million views be wrong? This is the way to do it.

Well, I think Rob is arriving via buffalo, so I don't want to steal his thunder!

You make snow sound more appealing than it is. And by appealing I mean "to be eaten."

Two more things:

1. I just realized that you ran 104 miles last week.

2. I have two disproportionately sized cats that, although not as majestic as mooses, could solve the height problem. One is a hardcore meat eater and one is (I am almost convinced) a vegetarian. You know, because they'll need be fed at some point.

1. 96!

2. Dogs aren't allowed in the canyon where we are getting married, but I wonder if cats are?...

No Prius Steve. Just a mighty Civic.
