PM - 1.5 miles w/ Andrea. Yeah, I'm going to count that as a run.

How's the old lady doing? (Sorry Andrea, only joking.) I've been checking to see if there's any news but so far, nothing...?

No diagnosis yet. She got another MRI while in Tennessee, and it showed no labral tear or bony impingement. Then they did a hip injection, which gave her zero pain relief. Frustrating. But, at least we are confident that her hip joint isn't the problem, which is good in the long term. I really was hoping she wouldn't need that kind of surgery... but I was also hoping this expert in TN would be able to shed some more light on what is going on. He didn't.
So the next (and possibly last?) step is to go see someone who specializes in sports hernias. There are only two guys who are considered experts in that area, so we're headed to California next week to see one of them.
If only I could go back in time and get Terminator Poulsen to specialize in hip/abdomen! He's been the only person in this whole 9 month ordeal that has been helpful so far.

I feel less guilty about counting my 1 mile jog around payson running errands last night after reading this. :)
Thanks for the update on Andrea.

1.5 is a long run for her at this point, so I would have been a jerk not to count it! :-)

It's all very strange. Very strange indeed.

You can count it this time, but you have to go back and subtract a few treadmill miles :)
It's amazing how much faith we put in medicine and how advanced it is, but yet there's always something it can't quite capture. I just keep hoping something works or it goes away. I hate to see people in pain. Well, know that they are in pain, that is, even if I don't know them.
Except, Bam. He deserves all the harassment he receives.
