AM/PM - Ski Tour w/ Andrea: Climbed Mt Superior via the East Ridge, then 3 amazing laps of hero snow down the Cardiac Chutes and into Cardiac Bowl. Had the place to ourselves. Did another short lap on a NW aspect back near Cardiff Pass, then skied an afternoon slush run on the south-facing side back to Alta. Like last Saturday, today gets the "Top Shelf" classificiation. Definitely one of those days where I feel incredibly lucky to live where we live and get to do the kinds of things we do! [5100']

Like postcards (do they still exist?). I don't say it every time, but thanks for posting these.

You're getting out of control here...don't make me start another photo war.

Tom - postcards DO exist! National Parks visitors centers are the best places to get them. I appreciate that you appreciate the photos. Thanks.

Joe - I'm ready to engage at any time! Spring skiing is just getting started...

So all those perfectly skied lines, only perfect skiers allowed? I know there's a name for those, oval 8s, infinities?

Powder 8s!

It takes quite a bit of effort to get to those perfect slopes, so you don't need to be a perfect skier, but definitely motivated to put in some sweat equity.

That being said, there are always some knuckleheads who can't or choose not to ski the fall line (probably snowboarders!)
