The Next Step

Kauai, HI:  Traveled out here yesterday and was tired when we got in so didn't run.  I got out early this morning and it was nice.  It was around 70 with some wind.  I went out on a country type road and it was nice to just enjoy the peace and quiet.  I could really see the stars and really enjoyed the run.

Kauai, HI:  Was out early again this morning and just stayed on the same route since I enjoyed it so much.  It is mostly out into the wind and mostly up hill.  That makes the run back fun with the wind at my back and mostly a gently downhill.  Felt pretty good today and pushed it a little on the way back.

Kauai, HI:  Another nice morning and ran the same route.  I was a little tired today.  May be the jet lag catching up with me and not sleeping enough.  I just took it easy but still enjoyed the run.  It is hard not to enjoy anything out here since it is so beautiful.

Went surfing today and then came back to the hotel and went to the beach with my wife.  The surfing took more out of me than I thought it would and just decided to take it easy today.

Kauai, HI:  Another nice morning for running.  Today I went down another road that turned into a dirt road that I followed until it dead ended a a beach.  It was a beautiful location and came back to this point later with my wife.  I felt pretty good today and ran easy.  It was real windy so that slowed me down some.

Traveled back today so didn't get a run in since I got back late.

It was a nice day today with temp around 40 and some light wind.  I felt pretty good today.  A little jet lag but otherwise was good.  It was a nice run and I just took in easy and enjoyed the nice day.
