This morning we had thunderstorms with heavy rain (weird for Feb) so I ran on the treadmill. My leg felt much better today so I guess it was just sore from the long run. Not sure why but glad it didn't . Since the leg was feeling good I decided to go ahead with my tempo run. I did a 3 mile warmup and then 4 miles of tempo around 6:45. I felt pretty good on the tempo but was starting to feel the effort the last 1.5 miles. I finished up with a mile warmdown.
