Beautiful afternoon and went for 28 mile bike ride with a friend. Knee felt pretty good for the ride but still not 100%. However, my legs felt great after the 16 mile run yesterday. If I can just get this knee straight everything else seems to be good.

It's always nice to have the bike to give you a break from running when battling running injuries.

Nice impressive back to back days of fitness training. I hope your knee does get better. I thing as long as your not in extreme pain than I would take it day by day.

Great bike ride.

Thanks! Luckly my knee doesn't hurt much just got this strange tight feeling. Just trying to keep it from getting worse at this point.

Jim,

My knee was tight a couple of months ago when I first began increasing my mileage. It almost felt as though it was going to "lock" at times. I treated it gingerly for a week or two, maintained my increased load, and still did a few tempo runs(w/out doing any speed work). It was back to normal within a week or two. Yours may be a different situation, but just thought it would be helpful to compare notes.

Thanks for the feedback on the knee. I have been trying to take it easy and not increase any distance and the knee seems to be getting better. Hopefully, I am on the way to recovery.
