A little cooler this morning but still very humid.  Felt good this morning but just ran easy.  Still trying to get used to the new shoes.  Felt good but want to take it easy with the change.

Good run, glad the weather is more cooperative. You are smart adding miles on the minimalist shoes slowly to avoid injury.

Have you had any experience with the minimalist shoes? If so, wander what your experience was longer term.

I have a pair of Vibrams that I just use for augmentation/strength building. I also wear some Kinvara's and Fastwitch which are light weight shoes and I really like for racing. I tried going 6 miles in my Vibrams once...thought I broke my foot. There are different "minimalist" shoes out there, just work them into your training easy to see how your body reacts.
