Left on an early morning flight today to Fort Lauderdale where I was welcomed by Tropical Storm Fay.  My thoughts of running along the beach didn't materialize but was able to squeeze in 7 miles between meetings.  Felt good today and no problems from the knee which is the first time in about a week.  Hopefully, the knee problems are behind me.  The weather here doesn't look too good for in the morning so may be another day on the treadmill.  I may catch a break and all of this will move through during the night and I can get outside in the morning.

Great news on the knee... I pray it continues so you can rock Chicago. I hope the weather turns nice for you and you can run outside in such a great place. I've actually never been there.

I received the pedals Saturday... thank you I do really appreciate it. I'm so new to biking that I'm trying to come up with a schedule, but I think I will wait to ride after the marathon on the 30th. Do you think that's a wise choice?

I think you are wise to wait until after your marathon to start the biking. You have put in some great training and probably good to stick with your plan at this point. Cycling is a good way to recover from the marathon since you can just curse along at an easy pace and shake the legs out.
