After yesterday's run I thought my ankle sprain problems were behind me and I would be back to normal running. What a difference a day makes. I went out this morning planning on running 6 miles and as soon as I started my ankle was very painful. Every stride hurt. I thought maybe it was stiff and I would give it some time to warm up. After around a mile I decided to call it quits and give the ankle some rest for the day. I did go back out during lunch just to see if it felt better and it did but still not good enough to run on. I will rest today and ice it then see what happens tomorrow. |
