Pretty nice day out this morning (36, light wind). It is still below normal for this time of year. Hopefully, Spring will come soon. Today's run went well. I felt good and was glad to get 2 8 milers back to back. I have to go out of town early in the morning so not sure how much I will be able to get in tomorrow. With travel I just have to take what the schedule will allow and not get to worried about it. I just need to make sure that I get in a long run this week and right now I am targeting that for Thurs.

Thanks for the comment. Work and family commitments can make it hard to get in your training. When I was training for Boston 07 I made the resolution to get out and run everyday, even if it was just 1 mile. My wife got totally behind me and several times after a long work day I would be lacking the motivation and she would prod and inspire me to keep the streak going. I also found that by telling as many people as possible of your goal for the race will motivate and inspire you to not let down all the people cheering for you back home.

I ran a race last summer up in Kokomo, the Haynes Apperson 4 miler. It was a great race, like to do it again some year.

Good luck at the Indy 1/2!
