9 @ 8:45. Felt good, not ready to run fast, but recovery going well. Spin class tonight. After 30 min all out effort on bike, decided to get on treadmill to recover! Did 2 mile progression, faster every tenth of a mile. Started at 8:57, ended at 6:49 -felt good to turn legs over faster for a brief time. Got back on bike for cool down song, then stretching. Met a guy after class who is training for his first marathon in Feb, last fall he weighed 320 lbs & could not run a mile - pretty cool. The Spin instructor introduced me, as she was his personal trainer last fall. I gave him some advice, mainly on the importance of getting to the starting line uninjured ... he is already experiencing some PF issues. |
