This is a small marathon in Mobile, AL still trying to get better organized, but still fun to run, and a great cause. I did not put the training in to run great, but was still happy with my result. My right shin just above my ankle got extreamly sore at 14 miles causing me to run/walk the last 12. Thankfully I saw my family two times during the last 12 and they motivated me to keep moving. They give a lot of awards out for this race. The 4 masters in front of me got overall awards, so I ended up being 1st in my age group. |
