Total Distance
17.00

17.0 in 2:05:04.  Avg pace 7:21.  Started at 6:00 am and went up and down Provo Canyon.

This was one of the best training runs I've had.  I wanted to push the pace a bit, and it just so happened that I felt really good.  Hit the turn around point at just under 8 min pace and then I flew back down the canyon.  For my own future reference my splits from mile 10-17 were: 7:10, 6:27, 6:46, 6:44, 6:50, 6:53, 6:36, 6:29.  Great, great run for me.

Two weeks to TOU.  Will try and scale back a bit this week and hit between 50-55 miles and then the next week I will really scale back.  Legs felt good today and hopefully the taper will help them feel even better for the marathon.

Will go lift for a bit today.

Very, very nice Jeff. Gotta love those kind of runs! I think we saw you coming up while we were going down today. You were already flying by that point.

Thanks, Tom. Yeah, I had my eyes open for you and your wife. When I came around that little bend I was surprised to see people and didn't realize it was you guys until after we had passed. Good run for you guys as well. You seem to be ready to run your wife to a good SGM time.

Blazin' pace. I see a sub 3 coming your direction in about two weeks. What a great paced out workout. BYU, hmmm... I bet you are going to that game!

Hey Bec. Awesome run for you today. You are bouncing back fast. Yeah, I was at the game. Great, wasn't it? You aren't still rooting for the red team are you? I thought I converted you when we went to the BYU BBall games....

Thanks, Allie. Great run for you on Saturday as well. I can't stand the taper, but I'm going to try and enjoy it these next two weeks. I'm so excited for the race.
