6 miles / 8:34 avg. Sun, 70 degrees. 1/2 mile loops on the mystery field track. Last two miles barefoot on the grass. My legs were undecided on whether or not they were tired from yesterdays race. Mostly tired though.

That seems pretty fast for a recovery run.

It seems to me like the real recovery run comes a couple of days after the workout. Whenever I do speedwork etc, the legs still feel peppy the following day. I anticipate todays (Monday) run being a recovery run.
