"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

From JD on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 16:25:47 from 65.130.160.252

thanks

hey Burt my favorite number is also 92!!!

no it's not.

Thayne, based on your run today i don't think you'll have any trouble keeping up.

thanks Kelli - i'm running on the fumes of inspiration generated by your absolutely incredible marathon on saturday! and don't worry about Burt, Oprah's got him locked in a closet watching reruns of her tv show.

From Kelli on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 16:28:50 from 67.172.235.55

Sounds like a good place for him!

Could you send dome motivational fumes back my way? Aside from the beautiful weather and being out in it, i can not find an ounce of motivation! I just sit on my patio and read. ;o)

From Burt on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 16:32:16 from 71.216.109.214

dome or dumb? Huh, Kelli?

From JD on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 16:33:44 from 65.130.160.252

well, if anyone legitimately deserves to take a break from running it's you Kelli. you've certainly accomplished a lot this year.

From Kelli on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 16:33:50 from 67.172.235.55

Crap, where did I type dome???? I quit, I blame it on the sugar high.

From JD on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 16:34:18 from 65.130.160.252

oh crap! it's Burt! run! run!

From JD on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 16:34:51 from 65.130.160.252

oops, i meant to type "fun! fun!"

From Kelli on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 16:35:03 from 67.172.235.55

If I take too long of a break, I quit running. So I have to time it carefully. But I do have a huge stack of books by my bed AND a massive amount of crap on my DVR to watch. Maybe I will quit my job and become a recluse.

From Kelli on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 16:35:34 from 67.172.235.55

;o) fun indeed

From Stacie on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 18:47:39 from 71.195.193.128

From JD on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 19:18:20 from 65.130.172.16

lol Stacie - 5 of those comments are me, the remainder are split between 4 people. 4 people roughly doubles the daily visitors to my blog. sigh...i was more popular in high school, and i was a nerd in high school. lol!

From Kelli on Tue, Oct 09, 2012 at 21:35:31 from 67.172.235.55

I like you. But I was also a nerd. In fact, I still am.
