"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

8.2 miles / Super easy pace. From work. Super nice weather. I just haven't felt human these last two days. Perhaps I'm a dancer.

WT 65.3 miles

pm note: My quantcast number, which usually hovers around 40 people, shot up to over 400 today. Obviously something's messed up. Anyone else ever experience this?

Funny, but the song implies we can't be both human and dancer. You are runner

perhaps you are speaking jibberish again??

From Lysa on Fri, Mar 11, 2011 at 23:56:11 from 50.8.74.241

Or perhaps you are just trying to distract our visual of you being a tiny dancer.

What is a quantcast? There, I've asked the question everyone wanted to ask.

It's that little number at the top of all of our blog pages that indicates how many people have viewed your blog in the past month. (I think that's what it means). I usually show about 40 people on any given day. So for the number to suddenly change to 402 overnight seems odd. It's probably an issue on their end.

ya. a stalking JD issue:)

From Lysa on Sat, Mar 12, 2011 at 22:10:17 from 50.8.74.241

That's weird. Ive never noticed that number before. Looks like you have a few stalkers. You should lock your doors.
