"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

The weather is unreal. I feel like I am just bracing myself though for something gnarly on the horizon. But maybe not. Maybe we will just stay lucky. I ran more than you today. just sayin. Not that it matters. But I did. I ran more. Than You. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Bc you ran faster than me. But I did. I ran more. Unless you're not done. Then I still ran more than you up until this point in the day. More.

lololololololol! I read this yesterday after your first run and Lysa's first comment and then just now.

Yes, you shouldn't run alone in the dark. Did you read about what happened to the girl running alone on the Provo River Trail last night? Not that it would happen to a man.

JD is not a man. He is a girly man. It could happen to him. Especially if he's wearing his pink spandex that day.

Okay that was rude. JD is very manly. As manly as they come. He is like Hercules he's so manly. And he only wears pink sometimes. But that's okay. Bc its manly that he's so confident in it.
