"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

That's funny. It's like saying 'If I ignore all the parts of me that feel bad, I feel pretty good.' I may have to embrace that mindset.

Hah! Well, after the full body pain I was experiencing on Sunday, I'm grateful for anything I can get.

Oh My Hell.

Ha! I'm taking the week off. :) I feel great now, but I figure my body deserves it. Oh, don't know if you've seen these, but I came across them and there's a few good ones of you:

Not yours Lysa, but mine. There are advantages to being a slow runner - quick recoveries.

Thanks for the link Dorsimus!

I ditto Lysa. I am still hardly walking. Now you have done it. I have to go run tomorrow.

Glad to see that you have some non-hurting parts.

Hey, that guy took some cool pictures! great ones of JD and Craig and Josh together, and green shirt guy that I ran the entire race with! He was the guy I was ticked at because I just wanted him to peel the sticker off for me but he sat there and took pictures instead. At least he caught my good deed!

I can't believe you ran 4.5 miles 3 days after you run 50. I hope it was really slow and easy.

From Lysa on Wed, Mar 30, 2011 at 12:29:39 from 50.8.74.241

you are a spaz.

From Scott Wesemann on Wed, Mar 30, 2011 at 12:58:43 from 66.239.250.209

It looks like you're recovering well. Sweet.
