You're getting in some nice miles. How you coping with the doubles? I see, so far this week, you've managed to stay out of any scrapes with hoodlums:)

The doubles are fine. I enjoy running twice a day. I've been doing them pretty consistently for about 6 weeks. I started working them in somewhat regularly in May and June, but I have really noticed a difference when racing. In 3 weeks I dropped about 15 seconds per mile off my 5k pace (could have just been the day), but I rarely do mile repeats, so it's fun to run full miles at interval pace.
I may work in a 4th double day starting this week, since I am only doing 2 workouts now (long and tempo).
I've been doing okay so far with the hoodlums this week. Still about 40 miles to go though!
