Fair to partly crappy. Felt a little bit better affter 7 or 8 miles. Played "if the light turns green I'll do the long version of this route." It did, so I went on.

Are the Zante's pretty good? I've been considering buying a pair for a while now.

They are fairly firm for what I expected. They are also fairly narrow and fitted around the upper tongue area.
I like a fairly firm yet responsive shoe, but the feel of these is a bit off for me for some reason. I imagine once they are broken in more they will feel pretty good. I haven't had any faster runs in them, but when I run faster they feel better if that makes sense. If I am loafing around at 8-8:30 pace they don't feel great. 7:15-6:50 feels pretty good. I can imagine these being a good marathon shoe for me running 6:10-6:30 pace.
Looks like you have some New Balance shoes, so you might like them better.
