Out and back on 231and W 500 S (weird Midwest direction/numbering) - 18 miles, averaged 7:38 w/ mile 15 @ slower end threshold (6:34). My Garmin was calculating current pace pretty slowly so I feel like that was off, but it really doesn't matter; no records (personal or world) were broken.

52 degrees and 100% humidity. Some fog on the way back. I was soaked.

Nice way to follow up the day off!

It had to be done on Sunday or Monday. Glad I didn't do it yesterday. My legs didn't feel super fresh today, but I could tell they needed a break yesterday.

I checked and apparently I didn't do anything this long until almost halfway through my last cycle. What a slacker!

Way out in front of it for a May marathon. Nicely done Jason.

Thanks, Bret. I felt like I was getting behind because I keep thinking my marathon is April (originally it was), but I am thinking about my half marathon. My half PR this fall was no doubt helped by long runs of 2:20+ w/ 8 miles @ marathon pace. Combine those with some speed work and I should be very fast (relatively speaking) on April 20th. Of course, a guy I know will likely be defending his 66 minute title (I think he cashed out $2000 last year for the win and a course record). Super nice guy. I think I was 38th last year. Hoping to crack the top ten this year and low 1:2X.
