Newtone - 7.7 in 70 minutes. Did some strides. Got the legs in touch with some sub-5:00 stuff for the first time in 6 weeks.

Usual 2-mile commute walking, except today it was more like snow-shoeing. Not a ton of snow, but it is very wet and heavy.

Waiting for my scale to tell me I am thin and pretty.

Sounds like fun getting in the fast stuff! Nice week.

A long way from running 4:20 pace strides on the road, but it was nice to get the legs turning. Felt good to pound the mill a bit!

Basically I am going with what the heart rate says and let that dictate pace for most easy stuff for now. But, yeah, 55 miles this week was more than I planned. I can count the number of sub-60 mile weeks this year on both hands I am guessing, but after not being able to walk, this is very good progress.

Ok...12 weeks but 8 weeks due to injury from the last few weeks. It's been a great year. If I try to say otherwise feel free to cyber-clap me :)

Strides are always a good thing when you can knock out a few, nice run. Good to see the mileage creeping back up

I put in more than I intended. Trying to raise it up to about 50-60 for the next few weeks, then 65-70 for the start of the year and incremental after that.

I've done a few small things that help. I notice that my heart rate is getting better every run and that it recovers more quickly at the end of runs. The little things I guess.

Results are fun to see. Especially when they happen that quick (w/ your HR).
