Neighborhood + Springside Academy - 8.5 miles, averaged 8:56. Did 6 x 200 strides on the track, which is where most of my strides will be since there are no good stretches of road near the apartment.

Did the first 4 nice and easy with Megan and went back toward the track. Lots of very nice athletic fields for barefoot running and strides. Pretty swanky school from the looks of things.

I had a lot of fun exploring new territory on both of our moves. Do you use map my run or anything to check out possible routes, or just pop outside and go?

I kind of sketch a route. Today I wandered a little. It's very hard to know when a road will all of a sudden become narrow or a sidewalk will end. Lots of beautiful slate (?) sidewalks but they aren't great for running. Nothing is flat, except after a 300 foot drop to the river basin. I'm trying to figure out the main arteries that I could use to link different areas. Today I was only ever ~2 miles out. Really enjoying the area though. Lots of other runners. Not a single shirtless one, which makes me stand out quite a bit.

Seriously thinking about moving. Maybe it'd be less of a life changing experience if I just tried to find new routes here.
