Jefferson High School - 7.4 miles, averaged 8:10. Hip feels good. I even tested it by stubbing my toe and falling on it. Followed it up with my new favorite recovery snack: 2 slices of Ezekiel 4:9 toast, ~1/3 avocado, topped with Sriracha.

i love ezekiel bread. makes a lovely pb&j. i'll have to try the sriracha/avocado...there's no way that can be bad.

It's hard to find healthy bread, and I hate the idea of frozen bread, but thawing it out in the fridge is helpful. I find it is great toasted but not great as is.
I'll have to try it as PBJ. I need a sandwich alternative.
Toe is fine, pride is not :)

Glad you passed the ol' toe-stub-hip-landing test. Classic PT trick.

Ow! Falling isn't much fun. Glad to hear it wasn't bad.
That bread sounds interesting. Must be good for you.

It's good, Matt. ~80 calories. Spendy, but I am weird about my bread. I just need to stop eating toast 17 times a day :)
