Forbidden Drive - 10.5 miles, averaged 7:55

Wet and muddy, but I really zoned out and enjoyed the run. Maybe 4 people out there, which was nice as much as it is nice that so many people are normally out.

My friend send me a case of Surge soda, the magically delicious, citrus flavored soda from the late-1990s. Coke reissued it. It's amazing how much soda I used to drink when I was younger and now I have it a few times a year.

Dew > Surge

From allie on Tue, Dec 09, 2014 at 15:29:41 from 24.30.41.119

my lunch every day in the summer of 1998 was a bottle of surge and a 100 grand. bleck. i rode my razor scooter to the store and back, so there was a little bit o' exercise in there.

surge and sunkist!

I still have my AOL address for a spam can. I had to stop giving it out at stores because the screen name was far outgrown: JDogg4130

I had two 16 oz cans. 230 calories a piece. Pretty much a sandwich.

SURGE! You wouldn't believe how many people don't remember that. Or maybe they're just too young. I was in the grocery store the other day and saw that if you were born on or before this day in 1996 you can buy tobacco. I bet that Surge burned on the way down..

for the sake of accurate internet records (for the future, when the internet is obsolete) -- surge/100 grand/razor scooter summer was actually in 2000. i can't believe i mixed up the 90s and 2000s -- completely different times.

i'm sure we'll all sleep better now.

i love AIM, alanis morissette, and john stockton.
