Have you run up the steps from the Rocky movies yet?

It's coming! The other day I turned around at 7.5 miles and I still had about 3.5 before I got there. We live on the extreme edge of Philadelphia. Our apartment complex is the last residency before you get to the suburbs. Cross the street and you're there.

There's a shorter route to get there(about 8-8.5 miles) but it's in one of the roughest areas of the city.

I think the rough areas are where the kids all came out to join Rocky on his run...though nowadays they'll run with you and also kill you for your shoes so probably better to go the long way.

Mile 23-24 of the run is miles 9-10 from my place. 11.25 total to the steps. I'm not really big on long long runs that are out and back, but how can you not give the Rocky Steps 22 miler a try at least once?

Doesn't that sound like it belongs on every marathoners bucket list? "The Rocky Steps 22 Miler"
