Merry Christmas, Jason. Hope you're having a great day and that Santa brought you some nice pressies - maybe even a pair of Newtons...

Merry Christmas, Bam! I didn't ask for any Newtons because I am all set now (well, got another new pair on eBay on the cheap), but I am reporting to you live from my new iPad.

Very nice - a cheeky little iPad for xmas; the pauper student image is now obliterated. You're one of those posh students - I bet your butler collects your washing and returns all pristine:)
We were thinking about iPads for our daughters (10&7) as they keep telling us, 'all their friends have them'. I don't believe that for a minute.
In the end, as their main present, we got each of them a Prestigio MultiPad 8.0 Ultra Duo. They are about 100 Euro cheaper than an iPad. They are Android 4.1's and are Jelly Bean ready - whatever that means. Apparently, they are the best Tablets for kids etc, except of course, unless they are extremely posh kids, like yourself:)
Got to say, they're fab. The kids didn't get a look in: I was one and the wife was on the other. Now that I know what they are, I think I'm gonna have to get me a cheeky little iPad.
Enjoy the rest of the holidays in your mansion and be nice to your butler:)

I don't know, I think you need more Newtons.

Bam: I do wonder if iPads are best for children (even though they operate them with surprising ease). My sister got my nephew a kindle fire. I do wish my iPad was jelly bean ready. Also, a butler would be nice so I could keep my newtons bight!
Joe: I keep thinking a pair is on its last lug, but they just keep going! Ive stopped paying retail fOr them, so the price is more doable. I do like the Sauconys even if they are squishy. They are a great sockless shoe too.
