Dynamite Loop (reverse direction) - 11.5 miles, no watch

Ran in a pair of Altras. They were perfect sockless and I barely noticed I was running in new shoes. I needed something that is a little wider a few days a week to make sure my Morton's Neuroma doesn't flair up. I've been wearing Altra's as a casual shoe for about 20 months, but didn't see anything that I liked for running. Tried the Torin's and those were way too stiff. The One is the one! No hot spots and lots of ground contact area for toes to splay.

What size do you wear? I need to send you some real running shoes.

Size 12. I think I could easily give up my Newton trainers (though I learned to run in them), but their flats are non-negotiable. I have been wearing my A5s on the track, and summer is here, which means lots of sockless Kinvara time. I'm spreading the love.

Part of the issue is that I have several pairs of Kinvara 11.5s in the 2 and they should be 12s.

You have Sasquatch feet. Unfortunately my stockpile doesn't have anything that big! If you wore a women's 8, then we'd have some options...

My foot measures about 10.5-11 but they are so wide that I have to size way up. Big feet, big ankles, big head. I'll never break 2:30 in the marathon :_(

The Altras are wicked ugly but they feel really good. Almost like running in scuba flippers but comfortable. I'm not selling them well here . . .

I think Paul retired his Kinvaras finally. Saucony should probably send him a check and put them in a museum.
