PM: Hot and humid around hefner. Solid crew for the heat training. Got in the 14. Probably going to call it a day. Got in some sleep this AM. Lots of early morning runs this upcoming week with lots of clinic ahead and studying.

PM: 7 miiles in after clinic, with 4 miles at 22:07ish.

PM: Around the hood. DANG hot out too, only about to getting hotter for the weekend. Running brookhaven this weekend, not in the shape I would like to be going into it, but thats ok. Plan on just training through this race, too many off days to take it easy for a 5k. Will run as hard as I can for it. Need to do some work, only 8 weeks from this sunday till goal race. And the "hay is in the barn" is far from. Need to go to work.

AM: Thursday morning workout before afternoon clinic. 10x400 at 5 min pace. Rest just Warm up and longer cool down.

PM: Easy run after the long day of Lecture! Pretty tired this morning and decided to squash the double idea. Got brookhaven in the morning. Excited to see how my lack of fitness rolls over into this one. Havent done much of any speed. Honestly would be ok with anything under 1550s on this one. I dont know if I have much more speed then that at the moment. SHould be a hot one, we will see. Finished todays run with an 800 and 400 at striders/MP. Looking forward to the three day weekend, which means LOTS of miles the next three days, and attempt at studying.

AM: Well, this race just showed how much work I need to do in the next 2 months before Marine Corps. Luckily I think I can bounce back pretty fast. I need to regulate the diet for sure if I want to see results, just doing the miles wont matter if I can't drop some weight. SPeed is lacking, fitness is lacking, and saw the back of a lot of heads I am not used to. So that was kind of a bummer. Anyways, definitley can only go up. Not bummed at all, just need to put in the work, guranteed something will click in the next few weeks. Looking to do some more racing and a half early part of October. Several miles for a warm up and an extended cooldown. Going tonight to get the 100 for the week.

PM: 5 more. 3 miles at 5:35 pace. Need to start integrating more workouts/effort based stuff during the week and on tired legs.
