some good speed work today. warmed up for 3 miles, then ran a fast mile, then did a recovery mile, then did another fast mile, then cooled down for 2.5. Splits on my 2 fast miles were: 1- 5:03.1 2- 4:59.5 pretty cool to dip below 5 for the 2nd mile, i havent really done that since college! getting into some pretty good speed shape, hopefully will be able to make an attempt at the 5k here next weekend.
