Today was supposed to be mile repeats, but when i woke up, the freezing drizzle we were supposed to get was actually freezing downpour! A nice think coating of ice covered everything, so I went to the indoor track here on campus and changed up my workout a little. Did one 1000 at 3:30, then 10x400 at 1:18-1:22, then closed with a 600 in 2:00. Overall, I was tired and my legs were dead by the end of the workout, but thats the goal with fast speed days, and i felt accomplished. I had turned a crappy day into a good one! |
