5x1000 meter repeats today. Weather was nice and so I threw on the flats and absolutely flew. My splits were: 1- 3:24.4 2- 3:21.4 3- 3:18.5 4- 3:21.5 5- 3:18.9 Total-- 16:38 or around 5:20-5:21 per mile. Very good workout today, I was hoping to hit each 1000 between 3:20-3:30 and I exceeded that. 2:05-2:10 recovery between each. Oddly enough the added up time is exactly my PR for the 5k, pretty cool.
